Job summary

Eaton in Greenwood, SC is seeking an onsite EHS Technician to support MESH initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA/SCDHEC standards.

You will work with management and facilities to drive safety, environmental performance, and training, including incident investigations and risk assessments, using tools like SharePoint and Excel.

Role is onsite with a base salary range and eligible for a variable incentive program; salary guidelines may adjust with experience and market conditions.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or Associate degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC; no relocation.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration visas.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a safe, engaged, and inclusive culture by complying with safety and environmental requirements.
• Assist with the implementation of MESH and drive improvements via MESH Teams.
• Collaborate with management, engineering, and facility staff to meet MESH and environmental goals.
• Support site risk assessment development to identify EHS hazards.
• Lead incident investigations and address safety concerns; participate in CI events.
• Provide hands-on regulatory and MESH compliance through inspections and corrective actions.
• Create training matrices and track annual training as part of the plan.
