Job summary

Insitu is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for a 12-month, on-site assignment in Bingen, WA. The role covers EHS activities across multiple disciplines, program implementation, testing, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 1–3 years with a Master's) and knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations. On-site work is required to support product and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 1–3 years with a Master's degree.
• 1–3 years experience with a Master's degree or comparable combination.

Responsibilities

• Perform Environmental, Health and Safety activities across multiple disciplines.
• 2 Plans, implements and maintains environmental, health and safety programs.
• 3 Performs required testing programs and maintains documentation.
• 4 Coordinates and conducts health and safety training for employees.
• 5 Conducts compliance assessments and audits of facilities and operations.
• 6 Performs root cause analysis and drafts corrective action plans.
• 7 Assists in evaluating current policies, procedures, and documentation.
• 8 Monitors chemicals, storage facilities and PPE.
