Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Bothell, WA seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Lead to support, develop, and measure site safety performance. You will integrate EHS into daily operations and collaborate with business units to drive compliant risk management programs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in EHS, knowledge of OSHA/WISHA, and strong training, communication, and auditing skills. This on-site position offers a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 2+ years of EHS support experience, warehousing preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and WISHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs, tools, and standards in line with global EHS policies.
• Provide training and communication to ensure regulatory and internal standards compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and client to determine best-in-class methods for achieving compliance.
• Conduct investigations of working conditions to prevent occupational diseases and health hazards.
• Promote EHS awareness throughout the organization through effective employee communications and participation.
• Serve as a key contact for safety and environmental issues.
• Support regulated waste management, including inspections.
• Conduct compliance tasks (stormwater sampling, inspections, inventory, life safety audits).
• Execute compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Support and conduct EHS audits, develop action plans, implement countermeasures.
• Perform risk assessments related to jobs for new processes and equipment.
• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly metrics for management reporting.
• Recommend risk mitigation measures including ergonomics.
• Establish and manage the safety committee.
• Drive continual safety improvements.
• Support stand-up meetings, safety committees, and floor inspections.
