Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to support health and safety programs across the Livingston site, with a focus on preventing incidents and maintaining compliance.

You will lead trainings, perform safety walks, and coordinate emergency plans while partnering with operations and leadership to reduce risks in agricultural and field environments. This onsite role requires flexible hours including Sundays and seasonal weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining safety records and incident reports.
• Ability to deliver clear safety training to diverse teams.
• Experience with safety audits and inspections across site, agricultural, and field environments.
• Experience coordinating drills and emergency plans with operations teams.
• Ability to work across site, agricultural, and field environments with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Track site health and safety issues through resolution, maintain records, and provide status updates.
• Manage safety training records and support employee safety awareness.
• Partner with operations and site leadership to address workplace hazards and risks.
• Conduct safety walks, audits, inspections, and track corrective actions to closure.
• Support field operations with incident reporting and safety activities for tractors and harvest operations.
• Develop and deliver training on energy isolation, safety orientation, combustible dust, ammonia awareness, wildfire safety, heat illness prevention, and agricultural safety.
• Coordinate safety drills and emergency response plans, participate in safety meetings, support safety projects, and promote a strong safety culture.
