Job summary

medmix is seeking a hands-on EHS Specialist to strengthen Environmental, Health & Safety programs at our Flowery Branch, Georgia site. This full-time, on-site role offers visibility and impact, working with plant leadership to elevate safety practices and regulatory compliance on the production floor.

You will develop training, lead risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations, and partner with Operations to reduce risk and drive continuous safety improvements in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management practices.
• Experience conducting safety training, incident investigations, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve all Environmental, Health & Safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and local regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, facility inspections, and incident investigations.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to reduce risk and improve workplace safety.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives that promote accountability and safety ownership.
• Support environmental compliance, sustainability efforts, and emergency preparedness programs.
• Serve as the site's primary EHS resource and key partner to plant leadership.
