Job summary

Entegris in Chaska, MN is seeking a Site EHS Lead to drive safety culture, environmental stewardship, and regulatory excellence at the manufacturing site. You will provide strategic direction, lead programs, and oversee day-to-day EHS activities to protect employees and operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 7+ years in manufacturing EHS, strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA rules, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, science, engineering, or a related EHS discipline.
• 7+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing; 10+ years preferred.
• Proven ability to lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on EHS training and coaching to managers, supervisors, and employees to reinforce safe work practices and ensure compliance.
• Serve as the site's EHS subject matter expert, overseeing day-to-day compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Support incident investigations and site inspections, assist in identifying root causes and risks, and drive timely corrective actions.
• Maintain a visible presence on the production floor to identify hazards, address safety and environmental concerns, and reinforce safe behaviors.
• Partner with facilities, engineering, and operations on new projects and process changes to identify EHS risks, implement appropriate controls, and obtain required environmental permits.
• Manage environmental compliance programs, including air, water, and waste, along with required monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting.
• Support regulatory inspections and serve as the primary contact for agency inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Track and review EHS performance metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain any required corporate management system activities, including internal audits and ongoing improvements.
• Maintain an annual budget for EHS needs including forecasting for capital expenditures to ensure continuous reduction of risk.
• Build strong working relationships across the site to promote accountability, collaboration, and a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
