Job summary

Parker Hannifin, Parker Aerospace division, invites applications for an EHS intern to work closely with the Division EHS Manager. The role combines office tasks with shop floor activities in a production environment, onsite.

The internship is on-site for Fall/Winter 2026-2027, limited to 15 hours per week, and offers exposure to EHS programs, reporting, training, and cultural initiatives while developing practical environmental health and safety experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least sophomore year of college with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
• Self-motivated, organized, and willing to be present on the shop floor/field as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support existing, new and updated EHS programs and procedures to meet business unit EHS objectives and targets with an emphasis on safety incident prevention, regulatory compliance, ergonomics and resource conservation.
• Support applicable EHS management systems, which may include chemical inventory, environmental management and other compliance assurance programs.
• Support EHS reporting, which includes performance against targets and goals, and preparing reports for regulatory, corporate, group and customer reports.
• Support an EHS training program, including delivering orientation and updating/revising training programs.
• Support EHS cultural programs.
