Job summary

Avgol Nonwovens in Mocksville, NC is seeking an onsite safety professional to assist the EnEHS Manager in developing and coordinating safety programs across the facility. You will support corrective actions, conduct training, monitor OSHA compliance topics, maintain SDS access, and help drive ISO 45001, 50001 and 14001 initiatives.

The role requires clear communication with all levels, strong observations on the production floor, and active participation in Safety Committee and Emergency

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing EHS programs.
• Coordinate safety training and OSHA topics.
• Monitor compliance and address issues with leadership.
• Maintain SDSs and ensure accessibility for associates.
• Input incident notifications and investigate near misses.
• Support ISO 45001, 50001 and 14001 compliance.
• Participate in Safety Committee and Emergency Response Teams.
• Conduct daily floor audits and safety inspections.
• Provide first aid as needed.
