Job summary

Saint-Gobain ADFORS in North Carolina seeks an experienced EHS Specialist to champion environmental, health, and safety programs at the site. This role focuses on field presence, employee engagement, and ensuring risks are identified and mitigated.

You will lead safety culture, conduct risk assessments, coordinate incidents, and ensure OSHA compliance while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Management, Business or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment focusing on safety, environmental health, or industrial hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Safety Execution and Culture Leadership: reinforce safety as equal to production and quality, coach staff, participate in meetings.
• EHS Program Management & Site Support: develop and support EHS programs, conduct risk assessments, ensure action plans address risks.
• Incident Management and Corrective Actions: respond to incidents, track reports, lead investigations and verify corrective actions.
• EHS Data, Systems, and Reporting: track indicators, analyze trends, ensure timely data submission, elevate gaps as needed.
• Training and Employee Engagement: conduct onboarding, lead toolbox talks, track training completion and identify gaps.
