Quanex is seeking an EHS Coordinator in Statesville, North Carolina to support health, safety and sustainability initiatives on the manufacturing floor.

You will conduct inspections, identify hazards, and help implement corrective actions while coordinating with site management and hourly teams. The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing and OSHA certification, with a strong emphasis on safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment; 2 years EHS experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• OSHA 10 or 30 hour Safety Certification required.
• Ability to inspect and maintain safety equipment per ANSI/OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Support safety culture on the production floor and identify hazards.
• Recommend preventative and corrective actions to improve safety.
• Coordinate safety training, drills, and safety program management.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Monitor safety indicators and communicate site safety results.
