Job summary

The role is onsite-only, with responsibilities spanning data extraction, reporting, and quality assurance across state and federal requirements.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a quantitative field and at least 2 years of experience with data systems, SQL, and analytics tools such as Excel, R, Power BI, SAS, and SPSS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (transcripts required).
• 2 years of experience with data management systems and SQL queries.
• Experience with Excel, R, Power BI, SAS, and SPSS.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time without sponsorship.
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license for travel.
• Skills assessment included in screening process.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with federal and state reporting requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of state data and assist with federal/state reporting needs.
• Use programming languages to extract data and translate findings for decision-making.
• Analyze, manage, and support large datasets within established parameters.
• Generate reports using student-level information on request.
• Improve data collection and management processes for efficient handling of information.
• Contribute to design and implementation of web-based data collection projects for student data.
• Assist with organization and validation of accountability systems and educational data.
• Maintain data for use in the State Accountability System.
• Apply business rules to support datasets and data integrity for state/federal reports.
• Deliver technical assistance, training, and troubleshooting to school districts.
• Create custom student-level reports for legislative, agency, or public requests.
• Resolve inquiries with transparency and open communication.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, MIS or related quantitative field
