Job summary

SolvIT, Inc. in Rochester Hills, Michigan, seeks an ECU Diagnostic Specialist to join our automotive technical team. This fully onsite role focuses on ECU programming processes and guided flash procedures to support dealership service operations.

You will develop ECU flash scripts with wiTECH Studio, author scripts for existing and new actions, and help define programming procedures so technicians perform service actions accurately and efficiently. Travel may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience with diagnostic scan tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Developing and defining processes for creating ECU flash scripts using wiTECH Studio.
• Authoring flash scripts for existing vehicle service actions.
• Creating flash scripts for new service actions as needed.
• Supporting the development of guided programming procedures that help dealership technicians successfully complete required service actions.
