Job summary

SMX is seeking a SharePoint Developer for an onsite role in Huntsville, AL. You will configure and manage SharePoint services, administer user access, and support end users in a DoD environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining databases, site content administration, monitoring systems, and developing workflows to improve the Project Office. Must live within 75 miles of Redstone Arsenal and hold a Secret clearance with DoD 8570.1 IAT II (Security+ or higher).

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience
• DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II certification (Security+) or higher is required
• SharePoint Online experience designing, architecting, implementing, installing, administering and supporting SharePoint in a DoD environment
• SharePoint migration experience is required
• Experience developing SharePoint sites and workflows

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer SharePoint databases
• Support site content administration with structure, permissions and automation
• Monitor systems daily to ensure integrity and availability during upgrades and migrations
• Develop workflows and processes to improve project office functionality
• Create and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, templates, dashboards from inception to maintenance
• Recommend enhancements to improve efficiency of SharePoint sites
• Document and maintain configuration and change management processes
• Communicate effectively across business layers and teams
