Job summary

SMX in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join our team. This onsite role requires DoD environment experience, a Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related work, plus DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II (Security+) certification.

You will administer and migrate SharePoint Online environments, manage databases, build workflows, pages, templates and dashboards, and provide end-user support across departments while ensuring security, reliability and efficient collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience required.
• DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification (Security+) required.
• SharePoint Online design, architecture, implementation, installation, administration, troubleshooting, and migration in a DoD environment required.
• SharePoint migration experience required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Must live within 75 miles of Redstone Arsenal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer SharePoint related databases.
• Support Site Content Administration with structure, permissions and automation.
• Perform daily system monitoring to ensure integrity and availability of systems and processes.
• Develop workflows and processes to improve overall functionality of the Project Office.
• Create and maintain new SharePoint sites, pages, templates, dashboards from inception to maintenance.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to current SharePoint sites.
• Develop, document, and maintain configuration management and change management processes.
• Communicate effectively across all business layers and teams.
