Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Server Administrator for on-site support at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The role focuses on server administration, STIG-based security hardening, and DoD/NIST compliance across Windows and Linux environments.

The candidate should have Security+ or equivalent certs, 5+ years IT experience, and an active Secret clearance. Responsibilities include documenting configurations and supporting VMware ESXi, OpenShift, and Horizon VDI in a security-focused

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years IT experience in relevant role.
Security+ certification or higher required.
Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

Implement, assess, and remediate DISA STIGs on Windows Server and RHEL systems.
Validate compliance using STIG Viewer, SCC, Evaluate-STIG, and similar tools.
Administer DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and Active Directory on Windows servers.
Support VMware ESXi, Horizon VDI, and Dell thin client environments.
Perform Linux CLI administration, patching, hardening, and config management.
Support Red Hat OpenShift and GitOps workflows as needed.
Maintain clear documentation of configurations, findings, remediation steps, and changes.
Collaborate with teams to ensure DoD and NIST compliance.
