Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Server Administrator to support DoD-grade IT infrastructure at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The role focuses on implementing and validating DISA STIGs across Windows and Linux, maintaining secure configurations, and contributing to documentation and compliance efforts.

The candidate will work with VMware ESXi, OpenShift, and GitOps workflows, with strong emphasis on security, policy adherence, and collaborative problem-solving in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Security+ within 6 months is required.
• 5+ years IT experience with a security focus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Onsite work at Redstone Arsenal, AL is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement, assess, and remediate DISA STIGs on Windows Server and RHEL.
• Validate compliance using STIG Viewer, SCC, Evaluate-STIG, and similar tools.
• Administer DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and Active Directory on Windows servers.
• Support VMware ESXi, Horizon VDI, and Dell thin clients.
• Perform Linux CLI administration, patching, hardening, and config management.
• Support Red Hat OpenShift and GitOps workflows as needed.
• Maintain clear documentation of configurations, findings, remediation steps, and changes.
