Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Project Manager to oversee 616th OC and 616th ACOMS IT projects in San Antonio, TX. This on-site role requires coordinating cross-functional teams and managing schedules, budgets, and vendor deliverables.

Qualified candidates will have a TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years in DoD project management, and a PMI-PMP certification. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for success in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Clearance required: TS/SCI.
• Minimum five years of experience as a Project Manager supporting DoD programs or contracts.
• PMI PMP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects.
• Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff.
• Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers.
• Generally reports to a Program Manager.
