Job summary

Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) seeks a Project Manager to lead IT projects in Honolulu, HI, aligning with PMBOK practices and government requirements. You will craft POAMs, manage risks, and ensure security compliance while delivering status updates to the COR-appointed team.

The role requires DoD project management experience, IAM-II certifications, and strong communication skills for briefings and presentations. On-site work with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• IAW DoD 8570.01-M, IAM II minimum qualifications.
• Must possess ONE of the following 8570 IAM-II certifications: CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP, PMP.
• Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum two (2) years of DoD project management experience.
• Strong written/verbal communication and briefing skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) for each project and present plans to government leaders.
• Develop and update a Project Risk Plan, track progress, ensure security and other requirements.
• Prepare MSR for COR-appointed Technical Assistant and provide actionable solutions to ensure success.
