GovCIO in Hampton, VA is hiring an IT Project Manager to support modernization efforts at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. This fully onsite role requires delivering complex enterprise implementation planning, technical integration, and coordination across a DoD-classified network.

You will manage project lifecycle from planning to sustainment, track vendor deliverables, manage risks, and ensure DoD cybersecurity and accreditation requirements.

Formación

• Experience managing multiple, complex, technical projects across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarly with DoD lifecycle processes, requirements management and enterprise architecture.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience creating or managing enterprise implementation plans for large deployments.
• Understanding of enterprise networks, service integration, incident handling, and secure IT operations.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps and Confluence.
• DOD 8140 IAT II (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND) or equivalent certification.

Responsabilidades

• Manages the direction of a project through design, implementation, and testing per objectives.
• Defines requirements and plans the project lifecycle deployment.
• Manages vendor tasks and reviews vendor deliverables.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Maintains structured project documentation including charters, plans, risk registers, and status reports.
• Monitors progress against baselines, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensures all actions comply with DoD cybersecurity, accreditation, and CM requirements.
• Translates technical considerations into clear operational impacts for leaders.
