Job summary

Raytheon/RTX seeks an Industrial Engineer II to support the Surveillance portfolio in McKinney, TX, optimizing throughput and efficiency. You will model factory operations, perform capacity planning, and lead value stream improvements with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include line balancing, project management, and applying Lean/Six Sigma to meet cost, quality and schedule targets while ensuring safe, productive work cells.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 2+ years of relevant experience or STEM Master’s.
• Industrial Engineering degree and experience applying Lean, capacity modeling, facility design or process optimization.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance per position requirements.

Responsibilities

• Model factory operations with process flows, value streams, pareto charts and CAD drawings.
• Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints.
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean to improve cost, quality and on-time delivery.
• Draft roadmaps for infrastructure, new products and equipment investments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects and address obsolescence.
• Support new production proposals and product integration efforts.
• Enhance factory safety and ergonomics.
