Qualifications

• The Dock Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting and promoting a safe working environment across dock and warehouse operations at DP World.
• Monitor daily safety practices, conduct inspections and observations, identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with safety training and communication, participate in incident investigations, and track corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Observe drivers unloading and loading trucks to ensure safe practices and communication with drivers.
• Report safety hazards and unsafe practices to health and safety leadership.
• Maintain records of preventative maintenance of dock equipment and safety actions.
• Walk the yard to identify unsafe practices and report to leadership.
• Enter data in PINC regarding dock operations and safety actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
