Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Control Panel Operator for Distillation in Bristol, TN. The role involves operating control panels for automatic distillation equipment and monitoring critical process variables to meet strict specifications.

You will help ensure safety, efficiency, and quality, including loading/unloading tankers, maintaining logs, and assisting maintenance when needed. A high school diploma is required with 2+ years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with a DCS system, pumps, hoses, etc., preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate control panels for automatic machines and related equipment to complete distillation processes.
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, temperatures, pressures, pumps and related controls to meet specifications.
• Prioritize health and safety by following policies and maintaining safe practices.
• Direct loading/unloading of tankers and pumping feedstock as needed.
• Maintain operating logs and report equipment performance for efficient resource use.
• Provide assistance to maintenance and operate a forklift as needed.
