Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Manager, Plant Operations in Bristol, TN to lead the operations of an industrial waste treatment facility. The role ensures safe, compliant operations, financial performance, and customer satisfaction, reporting to the Senior Director, Plant Operations.

The facility employs about 100 team members and runs 24/7. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in hazardous waste or chemical plant operations, supervisory experience, and a solid understanding of P&L.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science (preferred) with background in chemistry principles.
• 5+ years of hazardous waste operations or chemical plant operations, or 9+ years without degree (required).
• Previous supervisory experience and reasonable P&L understanding (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead operations for an industrial waste treatment plant and ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Manage production plans, budgets, and profitability with cost controls.
• Oversee regulatory compliance with Federal, State, local requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate cross-functional interactions across departments and corporate groups.
• Develop and revise standard operating procedures and performance metrics.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure timely response to emergencies.
