Job summary

Vangst is seeking a Senior Account Operations Director to own a large on-site operation in Camarillo, CA. You will manage client relationships on-site, run the management layer, and drive daily performance of a multi-department workforce.

You will lead from the floor, coaching supervisors and leads, and ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence. This hands-on role requires strong data skills and the ability to balance many moving parts.

Qualifications

• A track record of building and managing a management team over a large hourly workforce.
• Scale that maps to several hundred to a few thousand hourly workers across multiple departments or shifts.
• Proven ability to develop frontline supervisors and promote from within.
• Strong client-service instincts and trust with operators/customers.
• Calm under load handling scheduling, performance, and multiple requests.
• Data fluency; ability to run operation from dashboards and scorecards.
• Willingness to be onsite in Camarillo, CA, five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and hold accountable the on-site management layer (supervisors, leads, site managers).
• Own daily relationships with the client’s site managers and department heads; run weekly business reviews.
• Manage scheduling, coverage, and workforce movements across multiple departments and shifts.
• Run training calendars for site leadership on safety, systems, incident reporting, and procedures.
• Own hours, billing accuracy, and HR-compliant exits; monitor dashboards and performance metrics.
