Job summary

Vangst is seeking a Senior Account Director to own the Camarillo, CA on-site operation, overseeing the on-site management team, client relationships, and daily performance of a large hourly workforce across multiple departments.

This hands-on role leads from the floor, building a strong leadership bench and ensuring data-driven operations with accurate timekeeping, scheduling, and performance dashboards.

Qualifications

• Track record of building and managing a management team over a large hourly workforce (any industry).
• Experience scaling operations with hundreds to thousands of workers across multiple shifts.
• Proven ability to develop frontline supervisors and leaders.
• Strong client-service instincts and ability to earn trust with operators and leaders.
• Calm under load with competing demands on scheduling and performance.
• Data fluency; comfortable with dashboards, scorecards, and HR-related metrics.
• Ability to be on-site in Camarillo, CA, five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and hold accountable the on-site management layer: supervisors, leads, and site managers.
• Own daily client relationships with site managers and department heads; anticipate needs and provide insight.
• Run the weekly business review and own every number in it.
• Deliver a weekly written scorecard covering hours, accuracy, production, incidents, and open items.
• Keep the operation staffed to plan: coverage, scheduling, call-outs, and shift changes across departments.
• Manage daily production goals by department with published goal-versus-actual results.
• Own workforce quality: performance standards, coaching windows, and exits through HR.
• Partner with Vangst HQ on hiring pipeline, HR, safety, and compliance so the site never waits on headquarters.
• Ensure on-site safety: training, screening, and site access; incident reporting; and legal compliance.
