Zero Carbon Systems seeks an Operator to run and monitor Direct Air Capture research equipment in Brighton, CO. The role supports new rig builds, ensures safe plant operation, and performs routine inspections with the engineering team to advance testing and data collection.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating industrial process equipment.
• Experience reading P&IDs and mechanical drawings.
• Basic fabrication and pipefitting skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor DAC R&D equipment.
• Assist with new rig builds and testing.
• Collect data and perform inspections.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform startup/shutdown.
• Maintain CMMS documentation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA safety procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers and maintenance.
