Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Magna, UT, seeks a Calibration Technician – Level 2 for 100% onsite work. The role calibrates electronic and dimensional test equipment to set standards, with duties spanning setup, testing, and maintenance of a range of instruments.

The position follows a 4/10 schedule with Fridays off, starting between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM. The candidate must lift 50 lbs, complete training under a mentor, and coordinate with customers to schedule field work while maintaining turnaround

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years education/related experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Experience with calibrated hand tools, machining or metal component fabrication, and troubleshooting down to component level.
• Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and performing calibration procedures.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds in varied motions.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training as assigned and work under a mentor until training is satisfactory.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions; capable of lifting 50 pounds; mix of field and lab work.
• Maintain backlog and promised turnaround times for customers where assigned.
• Schedule all work with customers when in the field.
• Other duties as assigned.
