Job summary

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a new Agile development team focused on federal IT modernization. This onsite role in the Washington DC area requires a TS/SCI clearance and builds cutting-edge infrastructure for critical missions.

You will partner with DevOps, Security, Cloud, and App Engineering teams to integrate security controls into pipelines, monitor systems, and optimize cloud spend across environments.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and ability to pass screening.
• Security+ or equivalent certification.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience or 6–10 with a Master’s degree.
• Experience with Agile software development and learning new tech quickly.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket and Linux environments.
• Strong collaboration across distributed teams and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker and Ansible.
• Deploy, configure, test, and maintain Kafka and Elastic clusters in AWS.
• Integrate applications with the Elastic (ELK) stack and DoD STIGs.
• Create dashboards to monitor health, performance, security, and cost.
• Implement proactive monitoring, alerts, and automation for reliability.
• Optimize cloud spend and manage certificate lifecycles.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Cloud and App Eng teams in CI/CD.
• Work with Agile team and participate in daily scrums with distributed members.
• Develop automated tests with Ansible, Selenium, JMeter, JUnit as applicable.
• Troubleshoot installation and infra issues; report and mitigate risks.
