Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks a design engineer to own the parts design and development for CPM/Console plastic components. You will negotiate styling feasibility with customers and develop fit/finish and location concepts, ensuring alignment with product specs.

You will support design engineers, submit schedules and technical reports, and work with the client on daily basis. You will assist manufacturing to meet cost targets and drive engineering process improvements across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience designing CPM/Console (Plastic) parts.
• Ability to interpret product specs for design engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the parts design and development process.
• Negotiate styling feasibility and feedback to customers.
• Develop fit and finish sections and location concepts.
• Understand product specs and support design engineers in development of the parts.
• Submit schedules and technical reports to support projects; meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Discuss with client daily and conduct regular design reviews.
• Assist manufacturing in achieving cost targets and engineering process improvements; resolve production problems.
• Implement design changes identified and incorporate changes on the parts.
