VAL-CO Industries in New Holland, PA, is seeking a Full Time Design Engineer to design and improve mechanical/electro-mechanical products using CAE, CAD, and FEA. You will guide Designers and Drafters, develop prototypes, and document production drawings to ensure precision.

The role requires a BS or technical engineering degree, strong AutoCAD/SolidWorks skills, and willingness to travel occasionally. Onsite position with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• BS or technical degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Solid engineering knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks; MS Office skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Design new and improved products or modify mechanical/electro-mechanical solutions.
• Utilize CAE, CAD, and FEA to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency in design and analysis.
• Provide material and process specifications essential for manufacturing or purchasing parts.
• Guide Designers and Drafters to ensure Development Projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Assist in design and fabrication of prototypes to validate products and meet customer needs.
• Document design requirements on production drawings to guarantee precision and accuracy in production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative agricultural solutions to life.
