Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Matlab.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
• Apply engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
• Coordinate with project managers to understand the scope of work.
• Use CAD and drafting software to create prototypes.
• Analyze test results and iterate designs as needed.
• Oversee the manufacturing process for the machinery or equipment.
• Document development and design processes.
• Ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Utilize Finite Element Analysis for testing and design.
• Use Matlab for complex computations and simulations.
