Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Deployed Support Specialist to support mission-critical network and communications for USMC operations. This on-site role is located at Newport, RI or Pearl Harbor, HI and involves hands-on support for enterprise networking during deployment planning and execution.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of deployed network experience, active Secret clearance, IAT Level II certification, and CCNA or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of deployed network and technical support experience.
• Experience with routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, Active Directory, Exchange, and enterprise networks.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) required.
• Cisco CCNA or equivalent network certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide network guidance during deployment planning and exercises.
• Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, AD, Exchange.
• Coordinate rapid resolution of network and system issues for deployed units.
• Support deployment logistics including equipment, permits, visas, and foreign clearance.
• Develop IA training, post-deployment reviews, and document deployment activities.
