Job summary

Copeland, a global climate technologies company, is seeking a Demand Planner to develop and maintain unconstrained demand forecasts to support the SIOP process. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to deliver a consensus forecast that drives service, inventory, and financial performance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in demand planning in manufacturing or distribution, strong MRP knowledge, and proficiency in SAP/Oracle/JD Edwards/NetSuite with advanced Excel

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting.
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP and demand planning concepts.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical baseline forecasts using historical data and analytics.
• Maintain rolling 12–24-month forecasts.
• Manage forecast segmentation strategies (ABC, product family, channel, customer).
• Ensure forecast accuracy and bias targets are achieved.
• Lead the Demand Review portion of the monthly SIOP cycle.
• Present risks, opportunities, and forecast changes to cross-functional leadership.
• Support executive SIOP presentations with clear data-driven insights.
• Drive consensus alignment between Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Identify upside/downside scenarios and model impact on revenue and capacity.
• Ensure forecast changes are clearly communicated to Supply Planning.
