Job summary

Nebius is seeking a Data Center Technician to maintain and optimize our data center infrastructure in Kansas City, MO. You will troubleshoot hardware, perform diagnostics, and coordinate with internal teams and contractors to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires hands-on hardware experience, basic Linux skills, and a safety-first approach. Expect shift work and occasional travel between data center locations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving server hardware issues in data centers.
• Solid understanding of data center operations and network equipment.
• Basic Linux knowledge and CLI diagnostics.
• Experience with server IT hardware, enterprise switches, and fiber cabling.
• Proficient in documentation and maintaining logs and runbooks.
• Proactive, safety-focused, and quality-driven work approach.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve server hardware issues to keep data center operations running.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to address data center challenges.
• Install, upgrade, and decommission hardware per change requests.
• Maintain fiber cabling and structured wiring per Nebius standards.
• Plan and perform preventive maintenance and routine deployments.
• Support RMA processes with hardware identification and coordination.
• Document configurations, guides, logs, and runbooks.
• Coordinate with shift leads and infrastructure engineers to meet deadlines.
• Participate in shift tasks and project work as directed.
• Monitor work items and incidents via Nebius systems.
