Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking an experienced Security Operations Technician II to provide onsite security operations and technical support in data center environments. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of physical security systems, with escalation to senior teams as needed.

The candidate will collaborate with site teams, vendors, and Security Operations leadership to ensure uptime, service continuity, and site readiness across assigned metros.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–4 years in security operations or related field.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain security components with limited supervision.
• Proven documentation and communication skills for incident tracking and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Security Operations Execution: support onsite security operations across data center environments following procedures and escalation paths.
• Security Systems Support & Maintenance: troubleshoot, repair, replace, and perform preventive maintenance on readers, cameras, door hardware, and related devices.
• Incident Response, Escalation & Recovery: assist with onsite response to security incidents and document actions taken.
• Coordination, Customer Support & Site Readiness: coordinate with site teams and partners to maintain continuity and readiness.
• Professional Development & Team Support: complete training, improve execution quality, and contribute to team readiness.
