Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking an experienced Security Operations Technician II to support onsite security operations across one or more data center environments. Reporting to the Manager, Security Operations, you will troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintain physical security systems to ensure uptime, service continuity, and site readiness.

You will work with site teams, vendors, and cross‑functional partners to manage incidents, escalation, and recovery, document actions, and help drive standardized

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in security operations or related field
• Ability to perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance with minimal supervision
• Strong documentation and coordination skills
• Familiarity with Windows, networking fundamentals, and device connectivity

Responsibilities

• Security Operations Execution: support day-to-day onsite security operations across assigned critical data center environments in alignment with procedures and site requirements
• Security Systems Support & Maintenance: troubleshoot, repair, replace, and perform preventive maintenance for readers, cameras, door hardware, and related field devices
• Incident Response, Escalation & Recovery: support onsite response to security system issues, assist with issue assessment, troubleshooting, and recovery actions
• Coordination, Customer Support & Site Readiness: coordinate with site teams and support partners to maintain operational continuity and readiness
• Professional Development & Team Support: complete required training and contribute to a culture of standardized execution and readiness
