Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Midlothian, TX is seeking a Construction Safety Representative to monitor data center projects on site. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

You will assess EHS performance, lead safety communications, conduct tours, and support risk assessments throughout design, permitting, construction and handover to operations. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in safety, plus knowledge of NFPA 70e and NEC, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum five or more years' of construction safety representative experience.
• Experience in data center or mission critical fields preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years supporting safety programs and overseeing GC + subcontractor safety compliance.
• MS Project, reading architectural drawings, and contracts knowledge.
• Familiarity with construction codes and safety practices (NFPA 70e/NEC).
• Ground-up construction experience including MEP and environmental safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor GC EHS performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide data on EHS metrics and incident management.
• Lead safety communications through meetings and notices.
• Perform daily site safety tours with GC and owner's rep.
• Coach safety committee and support risk assessments.
• Contribute to design reviews across the Life Cycle and EHS planning.
