Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a data center, NOC, or network infrastructure role.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Familiarity with out-of-band management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Rack, stack, and cable network equipment according to standards.
• Terminate and test copper and fiber cabling.
• Monitor network hardware health and elevate anomalies.

Skills

Hands-on experience in a data center

Solid understanding of OSI model fundamentals

Comfort working in a data center environment

Structured cabling and network diagrams

Familiarity with Cisco/Arista/Cumulus CLI

Education

CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification

Tools

DCIM tools

OTDR and fiber testing tools
