Job summary

STN Incorporated in Marshfield, MO is seeking a Junior Network Administrator to join our data center operations team. This hands-on, onsite role involves maintaining and troubleshooting network environments alongside senior engineers. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in a data center setting and a solid understanding of network fundamentals.

This is a full-time position with an annual salary in the range of $70,000 to $90,000, depending on experience, offering benefits including health coverage and unlimited paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a data center or network role.
• Comfort working in a data center environment.
• Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 75 lbs.) and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Rack, stack, and cable network equipment per data center standards.
• Terminate and test copper and fiber cabling.
• Monitor network hardware health and address anomalies.

Skills

Understanding of OSI model fundamentals

Basic IP networking

Structured cabling experience

Cisco/Arista/Cumulus CLI familiarity

Education

CompTIA Network+ or CCNA (in progress)

Tools

Data Center Infrastructure Management Tools (DCIM)

Optical testing tools (OTDR, VFL)
