Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a Mechanical Operations Engineer for the New Albany, Ohio data center. The role reports to the Site Chief Engineer and requires onsite daily to support a high-demand, 24x7 facility.

You will oversee critical mechanical systems such as CRAHs, CRACs, chillers, water purification, and related infrastructure, coordinating maintenance, RCA/remediation, and performance reporting with the regional team.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication to lead teams and coordinate with peers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, Single Line Diagrams, and engineering plans.
• Proven track record of overseeing critical infrastructure projects and remediation activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of critical infrastructure and building mechanical systems.
• Operate CRACs/CRAHs, chillers, humidification/de-humidification systems, RTUs, CDUs, water purification systems.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance and corrective activities; supervise on-site subcontractors.
• Perform system analysis and reporting; ensure accurate tickets and communications.
• Support regional team for customer reporting and QBRs.
