Job summary

Blueprint Technologies is seeking a hands-on Data Center Hardware Test Technician to support research and development in Redmond and Totem Lake, WA. You’ll work with servers, TTVs, coolant systems, SST testing, and related lab hardware to evaluate systems before broader deployment.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable following procedures, documenting results, and collaborating with engineers to maintain safe lab and data center operations. This role is 100% onsite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a hardware test lab, data center, or similar setting.
• Experience installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting physical servers and related hardware.
• Experience with hardware validation, reliability testing, or system stress testing.
• Familiarity with thermal testing, coolant systems, or temperature-controlled hardware testing.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures and safety documentation.
• Experience using diagnostic tools, sensors, or monitoring systems.
• Strength to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical server hardware and test equipment.
• Set up servers and devices under test within data center and lab environments.
• Work with thermal test blocks, coolant systems, SST testing in lab environments.
• Perform break/fix, component replacement, and test-record documentation.
• Escalate issues to engineering teams and track test configurations.
• Maintain organized, safe lab and data center environments and asset records.
• Travel between Redmond and Totem Lake facilities as needed.
