Job summary

Blueprint Technologies, headquartered in Bellevue, WA, seeks a hands-on Data Center Hardware Test Technician to support R&D environments in Redmond and Totem Lake, WA. This role focuses on the physical setup, operation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of server hardware and lab infrastructure.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined with experience across multiple technical disciplines, comfortable working directly with hardware, following test procedures, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on hardware test lab or data center experience.
• Experience installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting physical servers and related hardware.
• Knowledge of thermal testing, cooling systems, and test blocks is desirable.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures and safety documentation.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical server hardware and test equipment.
• Set up and support devices under test in data center and lab environments.
• Operate with thermal test blocks, coolant systems, and related infrastructure.
• Perform hardware-validation, stress testing, and SST testing.
• Document results, test conditions, and failures; update SOPs and records.
• Collaborate with engineering and program teams; escalate safety concerns when needed.
• Travel between Redmond and Totem Lake facilities as required.
