Auria is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for an onsite role at Camp Pendleton, CA. The position supports DoD cybersecurity efforts, including administering IT infrastructure, applying STIGs, and drafting security policies and SOPs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity, 3+ years malware/forensics, 2+ years with FTK/Wireshark/Autopsy, and at least one year coding (Python, Lua, C/C++, Ruby). An Active Secret clearance and IAT I are preferred; salary ${115,000}–${135,000} per year.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in cybersecurity.
• 3+ years of malware/forensics and intrusion detection analysis.
• 2+ years with tools such as FTK, Wireshark, Autopsy.
• 1 year of development in Python, Lua, C/C++, or Ruby.
• IAT Level I Certification.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement hardware, software, or network solutions to resolve problems.
• Conduct administration, configuration, and support of IT infrastructure, including operating systems, network components, and application security.
• Implement STIG checklists across technologies and write DoD cybersecurity policies and SOPs.
• Review Windows, Linux, Cloud, network/applications STIGs, SRGs and vendor guides.
• Run ACAS vulnerability scans and propose remediation.
• Monitor, report, and respond to changes impacting security posture.
• Perform daily cybersecurity operational support.
• Create audit reports and metrics; report issues to the ISSM.
• Assist in investigating cyber breaches and implementing policy.
• Analyze multiple data sources to identify indicators of compromise.
• Draft client reports with findings and recommendations.
• Stay updated on current cyber threats and techniques.
• Use PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python to automate tasks.
• Collaborate with other cybersecurity engineers to address issues across customers.
