Job summary

Onebrief is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to deploy AtomEngine in real-world military training environments and work directly with customers at Fort Leavenworth, KS. You will configure, extend, and troubleshoot the platform, reflecting real-world requirements and operational priorities for engineering teams.

The role involves embedding with customers, supporting live exercises, and translating friction into actionable product feedback, while leveraging Godot, C++, C#, and Python.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software/solutions engineering or customer-facing engineering.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, Python, GDScript, or similar.
• Experience troubleshooting software systems and integrations; strong communication.
• Able to work independently in fast-paced environments and collaborate with customers and teams.
• Prior military experience and Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Willingness to onsite at Fort Leavenworth daily and travel ~20% with relocation provided.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support AtomEngine in live military training environments, including classified and air-gapped systems.
• Embed onsite with customers at Fort Leavenworth to understand operational needs and translate feedback to Product/Engineering.
• Integrate AtomEngine with partner systems by configuring APIs, networking, and infrastructure dependencies; troubleshoot during exercises.
• Contribute to engineering backlog by identifying improvements and working with Software Engineering on Godot, C++, C#, and Python.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to military stakeholders, partners, and internal teams.
• Improve documentation, deployment processes, and operational repeatability for scalable deployments.
• Travel occasionally to support customer engagements and exercises.
