Job summary

IRF Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Level 2) for onsite work in Sparks, MD. The role focuses on account management, order processing, RMA handling, and proactive customer communication to ensure on-time delivery and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in sales and/or customer service or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain export control eligibility (e.g., U.S. Person status for ITAR-controlled work) if applicable.
• Organized and personable; strong negotiation and problem-solving skills; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with customers and coworkers; familiar with ERP systems—Epicor; experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Account Management & Customer Communication; primary contact for orders and expediting.
• Enter and process customer purchase orders accurately into the ERP system.
• Perform contract review to verify order details against POs and contracts.
• Coordinate with planning, production, quality, and shipping to manage orders and expedites.
• Track open orders and backlog; maintain customer scorecards and reporting.
• Generate and process RMAs; determine disposition with quality, engineering, and shipping.
• Prepare and maintain order-related documentation; ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and export controls.
