Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the plant's quality assurance and quality control programs at the Alamance Manufacturing Facility in Mebane, NC. This onsite role partners with plant leadership to ensure products meet standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement and reducing cost of quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in quality management within an automotive manufacturing environment
• 5-10+ years of Engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, 8D, Six Sigma)
• Experience with ISO or industry-specific quality standards

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensures compliance with applicable standards
• Leads internal and external audits including customer, regulatory, and certification audits
• Establishes and monitors quality performance metrics (KPIs) including scrap, rework, defects, and customer complaints
• Oversees inspection, testing, and validation processes for materials, in-process production, and finished goods
• Leads root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA initiatives; drives Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement
• Manages, coaches, and develops the Quality team; supports NPI to ensure quality requirements met
