Job summary

Innovative Consulting & Management Services, LLC is seeking a Custodial Shift Supervisor to lead custodial staff and oversee cleaning, maintenance, and grounds activities at a government facility. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and the ability to manage day-to-day custodial operations onsite.

You will supervise shifts, train staff on safety and cleaning techniques, enforce safety policies, and manage inventories and reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing custodial or facility maintenance in large buildings of similar size and complexity.
• Current Advanced Custodial Technician Certification (CMI) or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial staff and coordinate shifts.
• Train, evaluate, and oversee personnel on cleaning techniques and safety.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and proper equipment handling.
• Manage budgeting, expenses, and cost-saving measures for custodial operations.
• Prepare reports and maintenance/work schedules.
• Respond to tenant concerns and coordinate corrective actions.
