Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Software Engineer in Cupertino, CA, to read technical docs, gather test requirements, and convert them into executable Python test code. You will also debug and unit test your own code and handle on-demand changes to test requirements.

You should have strong Python skills, experience with unit testing, and the ability to work onsite five days a week in Cupertino. Knowledge of Lua, C#, SQL, and test automation frameworks is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Python skills with ability to write original code.
• Translate requirements into working code in real time using Python and other scripting languages.
• Experience writing and running unit tests to validate code.
• Ability to debug code with debuggers, logging and unit tests; end-to-end flows must not be rerun.
• Experience with end-to-end testing and production software environments.
• Proficient in reading technical documentation and extracting program requirements.
