We are seeking a mid-level QA Automation Engineer to join our onsite team in Fremont, CA. The role requires 4–5 years of QA experience across manual and automated testing, with strong Selenium and Python skills. You will support API testing, mobile testing, regression testing, and QA process improvements.

The candidate must be local to California and available for onsite work in Fremont, CA. Familiarity with Jira, STLC, and test management tools is essential.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of QA experience including both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Python.
• Experience with REST API testing and backend integration testing.
• Familiarity with mobile testing and automation, and cross‑browser testing.

Responsabilités

• Perform functional and automated testing for web and mobile apps.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.
• Write backend integration tests and automated REST API tests.
• Track automation progress and provide weekly QA status reports.
• Design and execute integration, regression, functional, and stress testing.
• Translate requirements into detailed test cases with BI and developers.
• Execute Web/UI testing across browsers and platforms.
• Manage QA activities and JIRA tasks daily.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and scripts.
• Identify and track defects through JIRA and verify fixes.
• Support QA automation framework improvements and testing processes.
• Perform mobile app testing and mobile automation.
