Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT examinations for diagnostic interpretation. Work under supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, with a mix of day and evening shifts on a part-time, on-site schedule.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic program, MA licensure, ARRT/NMTCB CT registration, and demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic program.
• Registered by ARRT in diagnostic CT or NMTCB.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations appropriate to the patient age in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
• Completes all records, paperwork and billings promptly.
• Positions and transfers patients; assists radiologists with interventional exams.
• QC images and sends exams to PACS for physician review.
• Assists with inventory and supplies purchasing.
